I am currently working on a transmedia art project about the next generation of snowboarders and young artists—those born to parents living life on the edge, whether they were legends or misfits. I write about what people are really like and their behaviour when put under pressure and faced with limited choices. The project has grown into a trilogy called The Young Rebellion.
This fall of 2026, I am grounding my story in the Alps.

The Young Rebellion is a multi-layered trilogy set against the European Alps, the high- and low-end life of London, and the Norwegian way of coping with everyday life. It is a work of modern realism, showing the complexity of growing up in mid-2010’s. It’s a dark feel-good story about a family, exploring the DNA and the indivisible bonds between them.
the young rebellion
We follow the voice of young David, a snowboard athlete and the son of a late-nineties snowboard legend in grief. David struggles to find direction in his life and career, constantly worried about his lifelong brother, Sandy, in London. Their relationship is undefined, but their bond is inseparable, having grown up together with an ocean between them. When David falls in love for the very first time, he doesn’t know how to fit her into his family or high-pressure career, where nobody talks about what really happened and why everything seems connected.
The first book, The Indivisible Bond, is planned for release in the fall of 2027. A Coming-of-Age Novel in The Young Adult / New Adult genre. Planned for publication in Norwegian and English.
book 1: the indivisible bond
I grew up on the local ski slope in Norway, spending my childhood racing slalom and competing. In the early 2000’s, while researching snowboard culture for a novel I was writing, I strapped into a snowboard for the first time—and fell completely in love with this new way to absorb the mountains.
As the founder of Blue Sand Pictures, my storytelling is built on a diverse foundation. I hold a Master’s degree in Forest Industrial Economics and have years of experience working as a researcher, corporate business, and freelance journalist. This analytical background merges seamlessly with my creative side as a fiction writer and a musician, spanning from jazz to EDM as a vocal producer and composer.
